BDS, Dip Implant RCS England

Edmund completed his vocational training and gained his qualification in Stockholm, Sweden in 2004.

In 2013 he moved with his family to the UK joining a dental practice in West Sussex.

In addition to his BDS degree, he holds a postgraduate Diploma in Prosthetic Dentistry (Malmö University, Sweden) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Implant Dentistry ( Royal College of Surgeons/ London).

Edmund’s greatest satisfaction comes from helping patients to see what it’s possible to achieve and working with them to ensure the best possible result – whether it be a relatively simple procedure or a highly complex multi-stage treatment.

Edmund is happily settled in Horsham with his wife and two children. He balances his busy work schedule with spending time with his family and cycling.

Margaret qualified from the Royal London Hospital in 1982 and obtained her LDS from the Royal College of Surgeons in 1983.

She joined Old Mill Dental in 1992 and is well regarded for her caring nature by her patients. Her special interests include treating nervous patients and children.

In her spare time, Margaret enjoys spending time with her sons, walking her dogs, riding and skiing.

Lucy joined Old Mill Dental practice in August 2019 after graduating from Plymouth University with a degree in Dental Therapy and Dental Hygiene. Prior to this, she worked as a dental care professional for 7 years.

Lucy enjoys working with patients towards achieving oral health and is most happy when patients have the confidence to smile. She recently completed training in tooth whitening (under prescription from a dentist).

Outside of work Lucy is training towards her black belt in kickboxing and enjoys reading and travelling.

BSc (Hons) Dental Therapy and Dental Hygiene

Jo has recently joined Old Mill Dental following the award of her degree in Dental Therapy and Dental Hygiene from the University of Portsmouth (2017).

She has worked as a dental care professional for over 15 years, and in addition to enjoying all aspects of her role as a dental hygienist has particular interests in pediatric dentistry, oral health education and smoking cessation.

Outside of work Jo is married with three children, she enjoys running, reading and walking her still energetic, but slightly middle-aged Cocker Spaniel, Freddie!

Lisa graduated in Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy from the University of Portsmouth in 2011. She has worked as a dental care professional for over 20 years, having started as a dental assistant, and has gained experience working in NHS and private dental practice, orthodontic and emergency dental services.

Lisa has also gained much experience working as both a dental hygienist and therapist, and particularly enjoys working in paediatric dentistry, and periodontal management.

Lisa is married, she enjoys running, gardening, and sunny holidays!

Laura started working at Old Mill Dental in September 2017 after moving to West Sussex from Kent.

Along with general dentistry, she enjoys assisting with dental implants and assisting with compliance with the practice.

In her spare time, Laura enjoys spending time with her family and friends and keeping fit.

Michelle trained as a dental nurse at Northbrook College and gained her NVQ3 Dental Nursing qualification in 2006.

Michelle joined Old Mill Dental in 2008.

Outside of work, Michelle is busy with her family, husband Rob and three children. She loves baking cakes and sweet treats which she finds very therapeutic.

Kelly joined Old Mill Dental Practice in March 2019 as a trainee dental nurse and loves being part of the Old Mill Dental family.

Kelly enjoys her role as she loves the interaction with the patients, helping them feel more relaxed during their visit. Kelly Likes that every day in the practice brings something different giving her the opportunity to continuously learn new skills.

Outside of work Kelly enjoys long walks with her two very energetic dogs Ted and Betsy and spending time with her family.

Vicky joined Old Mill Dental in March 2022.

She has a long experience in the dental field and has been working in West Sussex for the last 15 years.

Excellent patient care and supporting the dental team are her top priorities.

Outside work, Vicky enjoys spending time with her friends and family and enjoys life with her husband James and their two children.

After 23 years of working in the hospitality industry and raising her three children, Kelly decided it was time to move on and follow her dream of becoming a dental nurse.

Kelly joined the Old Mill Dental practice and looks forward to qualifying as a dental nurse.

Outside of work, she loves to spend time with her family, socialise with friends and walks with her dog, Buddy.

Angie has a master’s degree in Economics.

She found that her career is not the suitable for herself and her family as she hoped. She decided to switch paths and become a dental nurse.

She is settled down in Steyning with her husband and child. Outside of work, she spends time with her family, loves the West End musicals and walks her dog in the beautiful South Downs.

Helena finished her dental nursing course in 2011.

In addition to her nursing duties, she has been in charge of looking after our decontamination room, running all our sterilisation machines and ensuring that the daily workflow runs smoothly and efficiently.

Her calmness and dedication have been the best support to our clinical team. 

Alex joined the team in September 2023, after working a few years as a dental nurse in Horsham, West Sussex.

She is a dedicated part of the team, supporting all her clinical colleagues and making sure the dental treatment will be delivered in the best clinical and friendly environment. 

Lee has spent all his life in West Sussex. He has worked in the health sector in both dental and medical practices.

He is passionate about organising the best communication between patients and health service providers.

Lee joined Old Mill Dental to work alongside the rest of the reception crew and make sure that our practice will carry on in keeping the high standard of service to all our customers.

Debbie joined Old Mill Dental in 2000 since then she has been a vital part of the practice.

She worked as a dental nurse and receptionist assisting with different tasks of daily dental work.

Recently, she has been focusing on reception. Debbie loves her role and is passionate to help all our patients and the team at Old Mill.

She’s a happily married, mother of one daughter, and she loves walking her labrador and cat.

After qualifying from a London secretarial college Dee worked for many years as a secretary/PA both in this country and overseas. She joined Old Mill in 1990 and never moved on!

Dee lives with her husband John and two Labradors. She has a grown-up son and daughter and four grandchildren.

When she’s not at work Dee enjoys working and training her dogs and going for long walks, all of which involve many like-minded friends and seeing her family. She also enjoys gardening and reading, but not cooking.

Nicky joined our administrative team in 2024 after years of working in other health sectors.

She is passionate about her roll in assessing our patients, looking after our clinicians schedules and work parallel to her colleagues at the front desk.

Out of work, Nicky juggles her free time between her family, looking after her mum and spending quality time with her friends.
